GG's Curt, ChaosTH and Rickie. It's been ages since I've had some decent 4-Player FFA's with anyone online so it was good to get back into it. It was fun messing around, especially in those last two matches, I particularly loved that Captain Falcon/Kirby Falcon/Falco punching match as it was most entertaining. Overall, many lol's to be had and I'm all brawled out tonight :P

That's a good point, there was a time where I played nothing but Wi-Fi for a moment, so I got used to it. However I started playing offline again and it became all the more noticable.

Wi-Fi wise I never take things seriously anyways, I just muck around alot. Your brother on the other hand... xD;

I seemed to be having the same problem with LuiGar333 and Djbrown outside of those matches with you so I'm puzzled as to why it's happening to me. My bandwidth has only been recently restored so the problem can't be related to my internet speed. Might have to check in to see how Kaeser and Djbrown's matches turned out in order to make a better diagnosis.

Thanks for the hard fought battles Kaeser and Smoking Puppy, I would've liked to have stuck around for a bit longer but I was hungry and had to eat dinner. I was experiencing some router troubles earlier in the evening but luckily I managed to fix them otherwise I would've called it a night.

@Smoking Puppy: I think in the previous thread you mentioned that you spent some time away from the game (or maybe that was someone else) but having spent two months away from the game (unable to play it :() it's clear that I still have a long way to go before I can provide you with a challenge. I'm not on holidays until next week so it can be hard to make time to play.

EDIT: Yeah that Ike/Wolf match was definitely my highlight. That Ike spike you gave me was a total WTF moment, not for the spike itself but because instead of going straight down I was hit more down and to the left causing me to slam into the bottom of the stage (like a pinball) and ricochet off into the abyss.

Good games to Leon77 earlier. It's been quite some time since we've played each other, so it's good to finally have a few games with you again. You're very good with a variety of characters, so there were a lot of close matches there. The Ike/Wolf match on Battlefield had some great spikes, especially at the ending. ;)

EDIT: Haha, it was a while ago when I was unable to play the game so I'm not as rusty as I used to be. I'd say you definitely put up a good fight, where it's actually hard to notice that you haven't had the opportunity to play. Knowing that you believe you can play much better is great to hear, but also quite frightening. :p

Yeah, I was majorly pissed when I got disconnected from the lag during the match (nobody won mind you :p), so I didn't bother to run back online.

Falco seems to have potential to join my roster(replace my 64 favourite Fox) but I couldn't seem to knock one life off you for the love of god with him.

I had about two games with someone else online and then they had to leave so I've just been in idle since then. I'm not sure if I'll be on later tonight but if you're free soon then I'm able to give you some games. As for Stef it hasn't been the same without him online but it's likely that he's decided to look elsewhere for a challenge.

You suicided very often which you have to try and prevent! You take a stock of pt with falcon then u suicided nearly straight after, u have to be every careful not to spam falcon kick as u may use it off the stage and die.
that zelda v link match u mightve noticed my wierd playstyle of floating around f-air/b-air. I was trying to do what this other zelda player does by using the c-stick for them, i think i need more practise on it though. (was doin it with wario and wolf also)

Your sonic did to worse but i was playing wario and wolf and they are two of my best + wolf has good advantage over sonic as blaster prevents sonic from spindash /throwing.

Its like trying to do work on a computer with someone reading what your doing.

I'd argue that a lot of people here are of a good standard ant. Whether or not you lose one here or win a bunch there, just take it in your stride. The day the game gets the better of you is the day you stop enjoying yourself!

I laughed at that KO/SD with Gannondorf's side-B on Halberd and there were many other great moments in those dozen or more matches we had. Look forward to more in the future, great bunch of brawlers you Aussie-Nintendo lot! :)

May I just say make sure when you choose IC that the other person isn't Ike. Cause in my history it never turns out good.

Falcon is an oddball so never take him seriously. If I SD with it's probably my own fault. After all my Falcon holds the record for most SD's (78). I choose Falcon because i'm a fan of F-zero. He shows promise but I have got to get use to survival with him.

Falco is showing great skills and i've improved a hell of a lot with him. He might be Fox's replacement eventually. Your Falco is good too.

Anyway had a bit of random in there too but got back to the ordinary soon after.

Favourite match tonight..... I really liked our start off Sonic vs Wolf.
But I think the winner was tonight was Falco vs R.O.B.

my biggest lol moment was probably in the Ike vs IC. Hey I did an Aether on the edge and I took your Popo down with me. That was so unexpected. Other then that definitely Ike vs Gannodorf odd SD.

totally understand about calling it quits we all need to get to bed. I was going to finish off with Sonic next anyway.

My first incentive's was to take your sister out first, but things will be different from thereon. I feel that after these sorts of matches I play a little smarter, so I thank you for that =D

It was actually really funny when you did that as I'm teaching her the same thing.

I should be your primary target the reason she is some helpful is that she can be either the decoy or the smasher as I can deal a great ammount of damage without causing a KO and I don't have the c stick to allow me to do accurate and timely smash attacks while she does (Tis why she's actually in it)

I play a fairly good Pit (needs a little more work, but still quite good), Ike (let's face it, everyone can play him) and Marth (was maining with him when Brawl first came out)

To a lesser extent, I can also play Yoshi, Pikachu, Gannondorf and Sonic fairly well (in that order). But I'm not fantastic with them just yet.

I VS'd Luigar333 multiple times, he's really good. Especially with his damn Weegee but he is beatable. I beat hime plenty of times but he beat me too :).

Bijou, who is the top 3? The best 3 that I've played are Stef, Luigar and Dj Brown. I'm under the impression that Smoking Puppy is one of the top players here as well (although I haven't really had an opurtunity to play him). Curt deserves a mention as well, as does Apollo.

Also, right now I'm playing with my crappy third party GCN controller so I guess I could have a few online matches. The annoying thing is that it's quite sensitive, making it difficult to do tilts. I guess it beats not being able to run to the right properly... =/

my wi-fi hasn't working for a few hours, lucky got a few games, pity it seems my brother couldn't fix the lag, as wes testing to see if fixing it had worked.
in that 1, 4 player i knew one of those reverse falcon punches would hit u eventually kaeser lol, i tip for ur wolf kaeser, do not use n-air it is very weak and hard to properly use.
Saw that grand final match of u vs djb lucario, 1 way of preventing his chaingrab at low %'s is to stand right at the edge of the stage, it can work ok, jus try not to die due to wolf's recovery, which is what happens to me most of the time :(

I really really sucked, but that is to be expected after not playing for two or three weeks.
After all those Sonic matches, I did random.
Random kept giving me the same characters.
In 9 or so matches of random i got: Ike, Ike, Olimar, Olimar, Pit, Pit, Jiggs and Jiggs. Oh yeah, and Fox.
I mean... come on! I can only play well with one, but i kept getting the same character :\

There was too much spamming from one opponent in particular though...

You are one tough person to play and your Luigi is a menace and makes me just hate him even more,,, along with that damn mansion stage.
Looks like I could learn a few things from your Falco though. Who is apparently my new Fox.

How many games did I end up winning was it just the one? lol.

I still have a long way to go with the mains by the looks of things but hopefully i'll pull through with them.

I really liked our ditto matches at the start Sonic vs Sonic, Ike vs Ike. And right now Snake for me is the odd pick. I'm just trying to get used to him as of right now. I'm still a little bit clumsy with him.

My Falcon seems to be picking up, all he needs is just a little bit more work. Falco didn't do too bad either... needs more love.

Ike and Marth are definitely at a good spot but could be doing better. Sonic seems to be getting back on track.

Good matches to both of you. Had some really fun ones and me and huydo had a few close ones.

Trying to think of a favourite match today but yeah can't think of one maybe you could too many matches stuck in my memory.

I'm sure a lot of people can vouch for what Huydo said. I don't mind playing Apolyon's Yoshi - it's quite good too, but after 5 or more matches against Yoshi it gets a little bit repetitive.

That's not to say I didn't have fun against Apolyon earlier this arvo. I like it more with people who don't play Yoshi 6 times then Ike once and Samus once. I forced him to change with no contests too! :p

I'll be back on for more games after I finish making myself a delicious chicken parmigiana!

I had a few lol moments with you.

I really liked our Link vs Yoshi match. Turned to be an upset on my behalf though I really though I had that match won. What a turn around. Loved the kick off how i'm destroying the eggs with the bombs.

I really liked our Falco matches though.

Falco vs Falco was quite a fun match and a bit of copycat going on there. I still need to get used to falco and I need to find those sweet spots for the easy kill.
Falco vs Ice Clmibers was also quite fun tonight.

I think I also had a good highlight tonight... A cool move but didn't knock you out.
It was in green hill zone. I remember pulling off something tricky there it's a shame I didn't knock you out. If only I got it on replay. I remember knocking you into that pole that doing a kick it looked really cool.

Anyway good games. Where's apolyon... oh well never mind.

I was hoping to face c-pup. Don't think i've faced him yet. Maybe next time.

Assuming you're talking about me, I did try to join you but I got disconnected when doing so. When I got back online I saw Kaeser looking for a game so I joined him while you were busy playing someone else. We have played before but it was a very long time ago, so it'd be good to have a few games with you. I'm all Brawled out for tonight though.

Anyway, good games to Kaeser and his friend. The ending on the Pirate Ship stage was hilarious and completely unexpected. :p I had heaps of fun playing as pretty much all the huge characters and for a brief period of time, Captain Douglas Jay Falcon. Cheers for the matches. :)

good games to kaesar. My favourite match was Marth vs DK. That got really close at the end.

I also loved our Falcon vs Lucario and our IC vs IC was pretty cool. I was hoping to have an IC vs IC. never had one before.

Ike vs Ness was also quite fun.

I remember winning one match with Ike tonight I also liked that one too.

That finale was a bit of a lag huh? Pity we didn't get back on track. Nice games anyway. I think i'm brawled out now.
