Haruhi-chan and Churuya-san spin-off announced!

Reports from Japan are that not one, but two spin-off anime parody series' are being developed for The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. Based on the official 4 koma (4 panel) gag manga series' Suzumiya Haruhi-chan no Yuutsu" and "Nyroron Churuya-san", these original net animation shorts will be adapted exclusively for distribution on YouTube.

No date has been set for its release.
