I was just wondering how many people here are watching the current episodes of naruto shippuden? The latest episode was with sai with orochimaru and kabuto..... (don't want to spoil the episode for those who haven't seen it) I'm only up to episode 97 in normal naruto lol.

With the manga I've only read volumes 1-4.

I only skim through the episodes when I download them. I think the Orochimaru vs 4 Tails was pretty well presented. Although to be honest, the pace is sloooowwwww, which makes you wonder why we had to put up with fillers for so long. *thinks back to filler hell* :roll:

I am watching the Shippuden episodes but I'm currently more interested in the manga at the moment since it's covering a more integral part of the series overall plot.

I'm not up to any of the Shippuden episodes yet, as I only discovered the show about 2 months ago. I've slowly been watching each episode on Youtube and am up to episode 140 (the original episodes) at the moment. It's somewhat addictive, but yeah I agree with those of you who say it's slow. Can't stop watching :P

Around 42 volumes currently. Off the internet. Australia will have it, after you know...2 years of fillers, assuming the translators don't get lazy.

And I think the anime is supposed to be progressing slowly to leave a reasonable gap between itself and the manga. Which is why we had all those fillers last time.

Lol, no worries. I didn't even know that store had sold them for that price! It's been about 6 months since I haven't been there anyway. That store is great, it also sells merchandise and so on.

Yeah, even the super challenge was held in Jam Factory. If you go in Intencity, you will find mario kart arcade. Chapel street is the best,.I even found one of the only copies in victoria of nintendo monopoly

I just watched a latest episode of Naruto Shipperden (I don't really know what episode because it was at a friends house) and I saw the episode of Naruto vs Orochimaru. Naruto looks too freaky with his black fox face, but too powerful at the same time.

Agreed, I don't know why, but most Anime that is dubbed get one opening and one ending that are dreadful compared to their subbed counterpart. What's in between usually has the same problem.

Actually most recent Animes have kept the same Opening and closing as the Japanese version had.

Also Leon77 the Dub of Naruto has the Japanese Openings I think only the toasted TV one doesn't because Toasted TV suck ass.

My biggest Naruto hate though...when Naruto notices that Gaara is the same as him (has the same emotional problems) its like "awww thats nice". But I swear, every person he meets, especially in the fillers and movies, he doesn't get along with them and they seem like a dick, but then he's like "oh my god, he's the same as me". And suddenly they're besties. Sora is a little different but it still irritates me, I mean c'mon, come up with a new character personality guys.

I will admit that sasoris history was a tad boring (yet another orphen...), but the actual fight was VERY well done. It was one of the more original battles in the series, it got to show off sakuras new moves and it was good for driving the story forward.

I was getting annoyed when it switched over to team gai, and naruto/kakashi because all of them seemed to be doing nothing! Naruto/Kakashi just followed deidera the whole time, and team gai were busy getting beaten up (until they decided that 'oh yes, we have to be stronger than the opponent to win!')

Naruto has a cool concept and immersion. However the anime is really eye gougingly bad. So much filler, drawn out discussion and 40% of every episode is a recap or flashback of the previous episode(s). The manga is alright but it's clear that it's no longer a story, just a cash cow to be milked and watered down.

It was Shippuden but I forgot what chapter, read it a while ago. I'll agree that it is a big improvement from the first series but really there were just all these annoying little things that got my nerves, like as Jader and Dousatsu mentioned the useless dialogue. Scenes where it attempted to be deep and meaningful like when Naruto makes his speeches about "friendship", like I haven't heard the same shet in thousands of other movies and it continues into Shippuden. This made it barely tolerable, then there was this line which really wasn't that bad but it pushed it over the line. "He did it for you" I won't reveal the context of that line because of spoilers for people who haven't reached that part yet but you should get it if you're a manga reader. It was Shippuden but I forgot what chapter, read it a while ago. I'll agree that it is a big improvement from the first series but really there were just all these annoying little things that got my nerves, like as Jader and Dousatsu mentioned the useless dialogue. Scenes where it attempted to be deep and meaningful like when Naruto makes his speeches about "friendship", like I haven't heard the same shet in thousands of other movies and it continues into Shippuden. This made it barely tolerable, then there was this line which really wasn't that bad but it pushed it over the line. "He did it for you" I won't reveal the context of that line because of spoilers for people who haven't reached that part yet but you should get it if you're a manga reader. That's when I go pee pee, but yes it is very very very very repetitive. First sasuke, then Sai, then that girl from the movie, then Sora, and lots of other minor characters like that really rich kid.

Just get out! Shikamaru is one of the best characters in it, and neji isnt too far off! Shika is a pretty good fighter, but he gets assigned to squads because he is a TACTICIAN. i do agree that naruto with his shadow clones could beat shikamaru, but that doesnt make him good!

Also, both neji and shikamaru acknowledged Narutos strength in the 'save sasuke saga'...

I think shikamaru is good, but I do like naruto just as much. Naruto would win ofcourse, but they are friends so they would never fight. I'm up to episode 43 of shippuden now.

Naruto is way off from receiving that or any relevant kind of accolade. Given his heritage and all events of the past and present, Naruto has the potential to exceed that of all of Konoha's ninjas, but his understanding of all Ninja-based terminology and concepts is well below that of his peers. Sure, he has been able to overcome his previous problems with sheer will and determination, but for him to ultimately succeed he needs to be able to understand where his weakness lies and work on it to turn it into a strength.

True, but thats naruto, a narrow minded character. I don't think the character would be good if he worked on his weakness. I like naruto through his bravery.

At the end of the previous episode, I hadnt really thought about HOW exactly shikamaru would get out of that bind. At the start of this one when they reshowed the scene with Hidan 'cutting' him with the pointy staff, I had a quick think about it and very quickly deduced that it was kakuzu's blood... but couldnt work out how he got it onto the weapon!!! I was like ... hang on... Shikamaru is a lot smarter than he is letting on... what is going on here?

The rasen-shurikan is VERY cool. Did you watch the thing at the end with the preview for the next story arc? Tsunade banning naruto from using the rasen-shurikan! Very very cool. Looking forward to the next episode.

Well he was wrapped in alot of papper bombs, and 1 paper bomb makes an explosion about that size of the hole so I'm pretty sure that the area will cave in.

Now thanks to retarded Hidan, Shikamaru is still alive, and Kakazu lost another one of his hearts, Kakazu better not die, he needs capture Naruto and take him to the Akatsuki lair.

Also, if he dies no one will know where Hidan has been buried.
