I've tried the roubleshoot with no avail.

The problem I have is that my headphones (with mic) that I have work with all other computers I've tested on but not on this one. This computer has Realtek HD Audio Manager. The microphone works fine, but the audio always comes through the bloody speakers and never the headphones even though i set it to headphones where I've connected the audio port. Can anyone help me? Much appreciated!

make sure its set to mute the speakers when headphones are plugged in (device advanced settings) and check the front panel isnt disabled (connector settings, click on the folder on the main screen).

^^ It's still not working. When I mute/turn off the speakers, no sound happens.

But I've found the problem. Realtek only lets me connect to the pink port at the BACK of the computer - the frontal ports aren't picked up at all by my computer ever this piece of **** was installed. So I can only plug in my headphones or microphone....

I've been going to other sites with no avail. If no one can help me, can I just get a link to a free trustworthy sound driver?
