Have you had any interesting experiences with game kiosks/demos. You know, the kind you have set up in Big W and Target.

I do, I remember there was a N64 with SSB set up at a target. with 3 controllers. Epic battles were had against random passer bys.

I haven't got a kid one, but a store clerk story. This was today, I was in GAME (EB) and I was listening to this clerk (woman) talk to a customer about how the gamecube doesn't have FPS games, and she pointed to the Gamecube top 10, at Bond: Everything or Nothing and MoH: Rising Sun and said "see, the x-box has lots of them, and i'm sure your son will love them." Then the customer (also a woman) said "that says Gamecube on it..."
At this point I laughed out loud, and got a REALLY dirty look from the store assistant, so I said to the customer
"If you want good advice on games, you've got more chance of getting it at McDonalds than here" and promptly left
