I havent heard much about this game but i want to buy it. Is it cooperative online? If so

It isnt Co-op online, i enjoyed the game when i had my 360, the only online part is for downloadable content, its making its way to PS3 i hear, i may actually buy it again, if i can find it cheap enough.

Ain't online but you can play it multiplayer similar to Tales Of Symphonia, except turn-based.

It's a great game! Highly recommend it.

Well sweet. If this is making it's way to PS3, I'll be getting it.
I've been hearing a fair bit about it.

I hear Lost Odyssey is superior.

It's debatable...

Perhaps in length Lost Odyssey is better but... It's combat is very traditional. It's traditional mc traditional...

Hmmm... It's difficult to say. They're both different enough from each other.

However, Eternal Sonata has a marvelous combat engine and a better, more original story line. Actually that's where it trumps Lost Odyssey. Has an awesomely original idea.

In some games, when you fight your opponent, you take turns in making you moves.......best example could be pokemon, final fantasy, usually RPGs i think.

It's only the combat that is turn based. The rest of the game is running around open world until you get to story parts/monster or boss encounters IIRC

THERE IS NO ONLINE MODE

Does that answer your question? :P

I am really interested in why you thought this game had a online mode, when most JRPGs unless they are MMO do not have any online functions let alone online co-op.
Did someone mention it did to you, or are you really into co-op games?

What do you mean if they want to? If the game is turn based, you don't get an option to change it.
