I might have one. My grandmother that is. I don't know if she still wants it. All I know is that they are super rare to find. Good luck trying to get one that still works.

However, I have decided that I'm willing to settle for a Discman. That is, a Sony Discman, produced between 1990 and 1999, still carrying the branding of Discman.

My dad has a sony walkman, I believe. Not sure if it works still though. Or if he still has it.
All i remember is it had a big orange button.
And if you pushed it, it would rewind it while playing, to create a highpitched pipsqueak effect.

I hadn't thought of that. But now that you mention it, YES!

I want a Walkman because it's awesomely 90s. As for the branding, the WALKMAN doesn't need to be Sony. The DISCMAN does. I'll take a cassette Walkman of any brand, so long as it was produced before 2000.

I do have 2 Sony Walkmans from the late 90's here, although I'm not even sure whether they work anymore. I'll try them out once I can find some spare batteries somewhere around here...
