when i remembered that the Nintendo World store is in NY, i said to my friend "we're going there!" coz we got nothing like that back in australia, and this morning (after buying tickets to go see Chicago on Broadway) we went to the store.

this place is totally cool, 2 floors of Nintendo-Heaven. Theyve got multiplayer booths setup for Gamecubes, DSs and Gameboys. Or if you dont want to play multiplayer, they have a single player Gameboy bar (GBA-BAR) or the Gamecube booths. You can also buy nintendo related stuff, eg: Nintendo-Monopoly (what i like to call Nintendopoly), Nintendo related shirts (Tee or Polo, for chicks and guys), various mags and carry cases, and Bling Nintendo DSs.

enough talk, heres the rest of the pics:

Each of the DS Bling Editions will set you back about US$500.

That is so freaking sweet. Damn I can image there would be quite a few playing SSBM. But wow, it really is freaking cool!

Man, I'd love to go to the Nintendo World Store....but Id blow all my money straight away, and I wouldn't have any idea what to spend it on first. But the sheer fact of being there is enough for me to die a happy man.

Thanks for the neat look inside the store :P

I want to go there one day too. I had a friend go to NY once, and he brought me back a cool Mario plush. He sits ontop of my computer.

I've been there. 4 times. Yet I've never bought what my heart has truly desired. A glass slab with a 3-D wireframe model of mario etched into it by an amazingly precise laser. Price tag??? Only $500 US baby! #-o
