Mario Kart Wii Weekly Wi-Fi Nights
Saturday Nights
The nights will be run in channel #an-wifi which can be accessed through the Chat Centre (http://www.aussie-nintendo.com/?v=chat).
They will start at about 7:30PM AEST and will go for around 3 hours or more.
If you already have an IRC client such as mIRC, Enter these details:
Server: irc.ausirc.net
Port: 6668
Channel: #an-wifi
Cool will be there and will put my FC up on the 24th when I get the game, will it start this Saturday

There will NOT be a Mario Kart Wii Wi-Fi Night this friday as there is the A-N Wi-Fi Night which will feature Brawl and Mario kart Wii anyway.

Well ill know ill be playn Mario Kart Wii a fair bit and looking forward to online play.. but Saturdays for wi-fi night doesnt suit me and im sure a few others also who like to go out.

Is there a way to search for channel #an-wifi coz I looked down the whole list of channels and couldn't find it. If not, could some please tell me how far down the list it is so I have a rough idea? thanks.

EDIT: Lon Lon Rancher: At the top of the page you will see "Chat Centre". That is where you go on the nights, then you just type in a nickname. Once you're in you will end up in Channel #aussie-nintendo. To get into our channel you must type /j #an-wifi

If the majority of opinions is against weekday nights, why change it for 3 people who said Saturday is a bad night. I still stand by Saturday is a bad night, but if people don't like weekdays maybe you should make a poll to see who wants what?

I'd prefer weekends, but i will still come on any weekday anyway. looking forward to this, so there won't be one this week coz of the one on friday?

Well Friday is Brawl night for some people who will have both.
I say Tuesday is the best night for me since I don't have TAFE on the following day after. I will be okay with any other day/night though.

YES, we are going to hold a Wi-Fi night tonight. Be in the chat centre at 7:30PM.
The day might change next week to either Saturday, Monday, Tuesday or wednesday

I've never really done one of these wi-fi nights, but I'd be interested if you're willing to have me :P Racing randoms is getting slightly tiresome, ah well.
Anyway I voted Wednesday, as it's probably best for me, but most any day should work. FC is 0774-4602-7472 but it's also in the Wii FC Thread for reference.

Tonights AN Wi-Fi Night will be held in #wifi-night so just type /j #wifi-night to join the channel.
All future Wi-Fi Nights will be held in #wifi-night as I now own the channel.
I have to go out soon, but I may make it back around 9. Hopefully I'll be able to have some good matches.
Oh and I also added your FC Volvagia.

Near the top of the page, you should see a link that says "CHAT CENTRE". Click it and accept whatever comes up on your screen until you're in the IRC. then type in "/j #wifi-night".

It's still at 7:30, but it's in a different room - #an-events. It seems like there's been less people showing up to Wi-Fi nights since the change, so hopefully things will pick up soon.
