Details:
LPC (Lan Party Central) will be hosting its first Console Area. We will also be running a Super Smash Brothers Melee Tournament. Please read the following for all the details:

All Day Fun:
There will be an area set up inside of LPC which will hold all the Console players. You will need to bring your own gear. Including:
TV
Console
Games
Controllers
1 Power Pack

What we will provide
Chairs, Table
1 Projector for Main Tournament
(MAYBE) 2 TV’s for Extra Play


Rules:
-No Smoking Inside the Venue
-Do not bring any Alcoholic Beverage
-No Drugs!
If you are caught, we will excuse you from the event without any hesitation

Cost:
Entry: $10 – this will include entry into the tournament and allow you to set up for the console area.
Entry $15 – this is the PC registration please do not get this confused. Please Check the Website for details on the PC side of LPC.

Time:
The tournament start time is 4pm on the Saturday. If you will be staying for the whole day for general Console play (my games will be provided for borrowing on the day), then 10am – 11pm.

Food:
Food and Drinks can be bought at the venue which includes hot food. Otherwise there is a local food land and other food stores about a 3 min walk away from the venue.

1st prize Metroid Prime 2 + Official Players Guide
2nd & 3rd 1x copy of nintendogs each.

A few things that I need to clear up.

If I can go(and get some friends to also come along) then we probably won’t be able a TV as we would have to catch a train into Adelaide and then a bus. Hence difficult. So how many of the other people coming would be able to bring TVs(that you know of)? Oh and consoles, we can bring games, controllers and portable consoles but that’s pretty much it.

We have 2 Tvs Confirmed 1 (70% sure coming) and 1 projector confirmed. You will be able to use the projector SOMETIMES and 2 tv's at anytime. please remember though other people are hopefully :P coming so there may be more TV's. but atm with 4 people playing at each tv we have 16 spots avaliable. But u can take turns in the long run, or ill sacrifice my Computer as TV.

Bring as many games and controllers as you like, Consoles bring only 1-2 between your 5 friends or so. (if u have other consoles(not GC) i suggest bringing those as well).

Ok im unsure where it stops excatly in the city but i do know it does, i suggest you ring up transport SA and find out where it stops. But its either the 610, 618 or (i think) 616. All of these buses stop outside the front the complex.

We would have no idea, we hope to reach (overall) 50 peopl. But were only a small LAN, which started up this year. But i would expect under 50 people. Unless the SSBM tournament gets huge results.

Tournament will last around 1hour to 1:30 mins. Depending on rounds and how fast we are :P

there is currently 8-10 people in the tournament already, but im hoping your coming with ur friends^_^. If u need help with the transport, addd me to msn or send an email to my gmail.

Then once I work out how to get there, with my mates I'll get all of us to sign up at the site. This is really apreciated dude. Sorry abot taking ages to start up.

there is nearly no place that will supply everyone with a TV. We are suppling 2 tvs and a projector and if need be, my computer can be turned into a TV^_^.

The tournament will be run on everything otherwise it would take too long. The semi-finals and finals will be on the projector. Should be a blast.


and im HOPING, but im pretty sure we could have 2 BBAs for the event. Im sure Mario kart DD on a network will be a blast also.

Those neutural stages are bloody horrible. Fourside, Temple and Peach's Castle are banned from most tourneys and for good reason. They all have an unfair quality in it. Foursides' walls make stalling techniques possible for some characters (Peach in particular). Temple's too bloody big and the cave can set up some really long fights. And Peach's Castle has those bloody Banzai Bills. Pokemon Stadium is good though. I suggest you guys use the .
