Which anime characters do you reckon are cute? Who is the cutest to you?

Anime wouldn't be anime without all its cuteness.

So whether it's from appearance and/or personality, list all your favourite anime characters that are cute!

Till this day, I still think Chii from Chobits, is the cutest character ever.

Sumomo is in appearance but her voice in the English dub annoys the hell out of me.

my list kinda in order:

Sakura (Tsubasa Chronicles)
Chi (chobits)
Ren (DearS)
Tessa Testarosa (Full metal panic)
Kurumi (Steel Angel Kurumi)
Misa (Death note)

The last spot was a toss up between Misa and Mimiru (.hack//sign) sure Mimiru can swing a sword but shes only a virtual character, but anyone whos willing to voluntarily shorten their life for you deserves at least a mention

I don't find Misa cute at all, but it could be the fact I hate her character and wish she wasn't really as big of a part in the show as she was.

Anyways Tessa from Full Metal Panic would be my favourite, Shinobu from Love Hina also.

Name near every anime/manga I watch/read has a bajillion cute charries in it somewhere. xD

Although, for just anime with the inclusion of voice...I'd hafta say Izumi Segawa. I mean, she's cute like 90% of the girls in Hayate no Gotoku manga/anime, but her over-the-top-cute VA for the anime seems to just make her even more adorable. x3; So, I'll go with her for now.

Animania for $25. You can probably find them on eBay if you're lucky though.

My friend bought Ed and Ein from Cowboy Bebop as a doll, and then i bought her a Chiyo-Chan, so she was very happy.

Kudos on a brilliant comparison.

It's certainly about nothing...and I'm loving every minute of it, like I did Seinfeld actually. But this has the cute factor as well. x3 I'm finding myself snickering and sometimes laughing out loud and some of the antics...which is good, makes the graveyard shift all alone with no customers at work a little easier. ;-; *watched 8 episodes during work this morning*

If you like Lucky Star I highly recommend watching Doki Doki School Hours. It is also another school anime that is about nothing, but the characters are much more memorable and have very unique personalities.

Simple Plot, Lack of character development, Everything is ok in the end violence, Easy to understand themes. No sexual references, Grade school antagonist.

Im not saying these are good or bad qualities im just telling you what i would label a 'kids show' :)

I think you might be thinking about the english adaption of the show. Cardcaptor Sakura was the original Japanese series and was a lot more mature and had a greater plot. The english adaption (Cardcaptors) is a kids show i think.

I wonder how many of these threads there are. I'm pretty sure Mokona is the best mascot ever created.
Sakura is also quite kawai.

I really need to find a subtitled version...or the proper dub (there were two dubs, one called Cardcaptors (the kiddy one) and an Animax dub called Cardcaptor Sakura, which is a proper dub with nothing taken away)

Cardcaptor Sakura is aimed towards kiddies but can be enjoyed by older audiences on different levels. Espically the Yukito and Toya relationship ;)
Don't get me started on the dub, it is pretty bad! Sakura Kinomoto > Avalon? huh? The problem is they dubbed it to air on TV and tried to make it too commercial and reuined all the characters and storylines making it a completley different show. DVD dubbs are so much better in most cases.

Speaking of cute characters how about some cute boys too? Yukito (Juilian in the dubb :confused:) is sooo cute too! And the way Sakura and Li have crushes on him :p

I used to like cardcaptors as I first saw it on cartoon network but once you see it orig jap it's so much better. But some people like the dub which is fine. Depends how you like it I suppose.
