Timewarp the year is 2006

Nintendo Australia have issued a statement saying Wii has surpassed 100,000 sales down under. This makes it the fastest selling console ever seen in the region. Director of Sales, Rose Lappin commented:"We promised we would bring gaming to the masses, I think this is proof that we're heading in the right direction".
Wii is expected to catch up with the Xbox 360 in total sales very soon, which has 160,000 units sold so far.

So, Mother's Day is coming up (... 13/04, before anyone asks) and to suit the merry holiday season at work, I was asked to make a stack of Nintendo stock to promote... well, Nintendo. With School Holidays making their way around Australia, Nintendo hit up a minor event called "Mario Kart 7 Fun Day" at selected EB Games stores . David a.k.a AllRoundGamer and I headed down to check it out.

For those who don't know, late last year there was a rumour of a game called "Title Fight" coming to PS3 which would play a lot like Smash Bros. The rumour popped up again this month after a survey was released asking people what they thought of the name "Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale", which is a terrible name.

I know there have been some rumoured confirmed characters, but I'm just going to make a list of characters I'd love to see in a Sony Smash Bros. ...

So about a month ago i bought Xenoblade on Ebay. From a store known as GameWave. The location was in Sydney too. I saw Xenoblade for $50 there. So i put down my order they sent off the game. I waited and i waited. finally after a week i cracked and i asked them where my game was and how is it that I get a copy of Last Story from a guy in QLD in just 2 days yet i'm waiting ...

Last night I was on a trip to Taree for the Easter Weekend. Considering it was going to be a 3 to 4 hour ride in a car with my Sister and her best friend, i decided to upll out my PSP and play some Final Fantasy Dissidia 012. However something happened and after 10 minutes i started to feel all sick. I felt a little bit woozy. And I discovered i suffer from Motion Sickness.

I realise that for many of you 5 hours is plenty, But not for me. I frequently make long trips where the 3-5hours of game play would be barely enough. In practise I doubt it would be enough.
I did have a 3DS pre-ordered back before its launch, I was heaps keen. I cancelled it after Nintendo’s e3 conference where they announced that they wouldn't have any (real) first party titles, no eshop and news had come out about the crap battery life.
