Default Mario vs. Donkey Kong marches onto DSiWare this Friday

Two months after its American launch, Nintendo will be releasing Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Minis March Again! for DSiWare in Australia and Europe this Friday, August 21st.

A puzzle-based platformer, the game shares the same visual style of Mario vs. Donkey Kong 2: March of the Minis, but features all-new levels, items and an expanded level editor. Users can create and store up to 140 stages, and share them with friends locally or online via the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection. Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Minis March Again! will cost 800 Nintendo Points.

Between this and Pop+ Solo, it's shaping up to be a great week for DSi owners.

MvDK2 was a bit of a shift from the original's DK'94-style gameplay, right?

Yeah, it's heaps different. It's a bit like Lemmings in that you don't have direct control, the mini's just keep walking while you frantically try and figure out how to guide them to the exit.

Bummer.

Might still check this out though, would've prefered something in the original style but Lemmings-esque is always good.

I can't remember, you still kind of had direct control didn't you? Like, you control which direction they walk and just flick over them when you want them to change.

Thats what it was like in the retail version, but I've heard this DSiWare version doesn't give players as much control over the minis, instead you have to plan your level strategy and pray

YEEEESSS!!!! With this AND Pop+ Solo coming out this Friday, it looks like I'll be needing to get some more points.

... and from that link in the article, I also discovered that Pilotwings is going to be released on VC this Friday ... which means I'll need to get even MORE Nintendo points.
