New Super Mario Bros. Wii isn't going anywhere just yet. That #1 sales seat is just too comfy.
Mario Kart Wii makes a return to the charts while Lego Indiana Jones 2 makes a decent debut on DS.
There's not much else going on this week, but if you haven't checked your calendar lately, the rise of Wii Fit/Play/Sports sales will tell you that Christmas is coming.

Style Boutique has managed to claim top spot for DS sales. I just hope this means the TV advertisements will stop soon.

Been a while since we last saw the Top 4 all belonging to Wii titles.

I just noticed the "Full Priced" title in there - so that wouldn't take into account sales from any store selling the game under RRP? I wonder what the true number of sales amounts to . . .

The big surprise for me here is that the PS3 version of Modern Warfare 2 is outselling the 360 version. That just seems strange, witht eh bigger 360 instal base and that 360 seems to lean more toward shooters.

Nope. Ads for video games are pretty scarce in the ACT.

Sports Resort is above Wii Play and Fit on the top 10 all, but not top 10 Wii. And Mario Kart isn't even there, wierd =S.

It's not very surprising to see that New Super Mario Bros. Wii remains in the top spot; classic Mario will always win the hearts of the masses. Athough anecdotal, the game has been practically sold out in just about every reliable game store around Melbourne CBD and the North-Western Suburbs. Just goes to show how much of a powerhouse this game is going to be for the Wii for some time to come, not to mention the boosting effect it appears to be having on Mario Kart Wii and New Super Mario Bros. DS.

People dangerously underestimate the amount of women who would be genuinely interested in that sort of game. Nintendo Australia has also been promoting the title through TV advertisements rather significantly since release, although I can only vouch for Victoria on that front.
