Help on a Science Polycarbonate assignment

If you guys could help me with this one aspect of my Yr 12 assignment, I would greatly appreciate it.
I am asked to:

"Create of improve on 3 useful everyday items/applications, recycling methods which could be made using polycarbonate. Justify your choice of item and explain the improvement in terms of the chemical, physical and economic problems of polycarbonate''.

I've had a think about it, but I'm not a very creative kind of person when it comes to this kind of thing.

I'm guessing 'or improve' but whatever.

What do high schools expect, their students to come up with A+ grade new inventions for this world? Just say water bottles, plastic bags and Chinese toys. It's not original but it's easy and will get you a mark.

1. the fork is awesome. But made from metal. It is dangerous. therefore, plastics!
2. Knife. I can get arrested for carrying a metal knife, when all i want it for is to butter stuff. Plastic avoids this.
3. a spork is awesome, but due to its overwhelming power, it must be in plastic.
