Default My Health Coach comes to the rescue of a fat Australia

Ubisoft's sent a timely reminder today that My Health Coach: Manage your Weight is available Down Under, and the publisher says it's time to look at alternative ways to make a difference with your health, especially given today's news that Australia is now leading the world in obesity.

Aimed at all adults and developed in collaboration with a nutritionist, the game is "a fun, engaging and rewarding method to get a healthier life and better manage your weight!" according to Ubi, and it ships with a pedometer to track and record your daily exercise. So, you wear it on your belt or carry it in your bag all day then slot it into your DS at the end.

Like Wii Fit, the game also monitors your BMI, and a daily session takes only 10 to 15 minutes of play to complete.

People are going to eat this up like the DS Training games. And at $50 with a pedometer, why won't the sucker buy it?

For a second there I thought that Peter Hunt was returning to save a "Fat" Australia.

DS Fit? That sounds good! Especially when for maybe $50 more at some places, you can get the same thing on Wii where you actually do exercises, and it takes your weight!

Why didn't Nintendo make a DS fitness game first >_<

Still can't believe we're now the fattest country. *continues to eat popcorn and drink soda*

Looks interesting!

Though, that's a pretty expensive pedometer.....

Still, loads of people lapped up Wii Fit (I still don't understand how running on the spot while staring at virtual grass and trees projected on a TV screen can possibly be more interesting than looking at *gasp*..... REAL grass and trees....).

This might turn out pretty popular...
