The start of the footy season is bearing down on us, and once again we put on our tipping hats and pretend to be knowledgeable about the game. This is also the thread for general football discussion, be it about benny boy's big comeback to afl footy or the weekends fixtures.

To save having to count all the tips each round Ive found us a nice site that will save me doing any work :p

Not from me, man. I always said, all I ever wanna see is my Blue-and-White boys holding up that cup. And I saw it in 2007. I've seen what I needed to see. No-one will ever have a season like that one.

No bitterness at all. The Hawks were the better team on the day.

AFL is crap. NRL is better./ hehehe I don't really have a prejudice against AFL though I just suspect this will start a flame war/not that I'm trying to though.

You could debate who had the better season had Geelong won the 2008 flag, but you cant debate that Geelong had a better season in 2007 than Essendon 2000
