Default Deadly Creatures

[video width=400 height=350:e34993cc16]http://www.gametrailers.com/remote_wrap.php?mid=30681[/video:e34993cc16]

A pretty awesome first trailer for THQ's nature channel inspired fighter. Some (potentially) pretty good 3rd party Wii exclusives are on their way now :)

Rainbow Studios have been watching too many youtube videos :P The concept seems rather strange though it will be interesting to see how this game progresses during it's development.

I can't really understand what it's about. What would you have to do?

I like its presentation, but I just don't like the concept altogether. Then again though, I might not like it but I'm sure if I can give it a go I might like it? Only time will tell :P

I don't know why but this game makes me think of Giant Enemy Crabs >_> (curse your thread Mercury Adept :P, it was one of the internet fads I didn't know!)

Im getting this game. Its a tight race between HOTD, Tenchu and this but i like the innovation of Deadly Creatures more than anything else.

Wow, this thread is pretty old! But new screens surfaced yesterday, so whatever. Seems to be coming along nicely, I'm lookin' forward to it.

For some reason this reminded me of Silent Hill 4.

old thread, i searched for DC and this what i got.

I think the graphics are outstanding. the landscapes, details and soundtrack matches so perfectly. Its going to be a scary game mixed with action elements and thats how i think they should have made it.

It looks excellent.
It's meant to be quite violent when you fight other insects, like ripping off their legs & heads & stuff = Awesome.

There's 3 new vids on IGN. It looks like the scorpion will be better to use control wise. Using a gesture to stab your tail through a small animal/insect might be one of most satisfying things yet with waggle control.

So old, in fact, that it was before the A-N sex change, which broke the original link in the original post, and no-one fixed it because the thread was so old even by that time!

I love a good resuscitation though.

I'm still looking forward to this one, but I'm concerned about the involvment of Dennis Hopper.

Great actor, but it smacks of "Hey everyone - please buy our game! We gots them celebrities!"

But it will be interesting to see how it all turns out.

On the flipside if the game is good it can only help. I'd suggest that Boom Blox only reached 500k sales because of Speilberg's name on the box.
