Thought i'd just get peoples oppinion on Dollhouse.

It is not out in Australia yet. But anyone who has watched it by downloading it what are your thoughts???

I think it is a great TV show, It started off a bit boring but it is picking up very well especially the new episode.

Plus Joss Whedon makes it (the guy who made Buffy, Angel, Firefly) also the main character is Eliza Dushku (Faith from buffy, and Tru from Tru calling). They are both really good Director/Actors.

Channel 10 had it origianally but FOX 8 has bought it off of them but there is still no word of when it is comming out.

I've been watching it religeously since it started. My favourite episode so far was last weeks (Echoes), and has my favourite line from a show in a long LONG time. "We got drugged, we behaved like idiot children, it happens, it's over."

It's pretty good, but nowhere near as good as Pushing Daisies...was *runs off to corner and cries*

yes i definately agree last weeks was definately good but this weeks is better.

But last weeks was hilarious i really wasnt expecting to be that funny

Do you think they'll give it a go or end it like Firefly?
I think the show is great but maybe to complex for today's TV audience.
I feel for Josh, I thought Firefly had great potential.

Are any of you guys watching Castle with Nathan Fillion?
Great show about a thriller writer who helps police solve crimes ripped out of his own novels.
Nathan is awesome as the show's lead. A really underrated actor.

I agree with what you said it is a bit complex for the ausience and a good example of that is Lost look how much that dropped

I think it will do another season and when we see the ratings for season 2 then i think we will know if it will last or not

The ratings for Episode 7 were shocking (which only pulled in 3.7 million viewers)
But episode 8 this week pulled in a much better 6.5 million viewers

FOX heavily promoted this weeks episode as it is the most exciting one yet.

Joss Whedon is a hack. He's a terrible writer, and there's a reason shit like Firefly gets cancelled.

Just kidding, Firefly was fantastic and what I've seen of Buffy is pretty rad too. Read that the dude was one of the writers on Toy Story, that's always awesome.

Joss Whedon is not a hack he has done some great work such as Buffy, Buffy is one of the best well known TV shows still as of now. Also the only reason why Firefly got cancelled was because FOX being as shit as they are didnt promote the show one bit and the show was praised alot for its creativity and idea. He also did the Screenplay for Toy Story.

He is a brilliant writer and should be given more chances with his shows he releases.

The only thing that brings down his shows are that he never gets good actors to star in the shows. Such as Dollhouse the only good actress is Eliza Dushku.

Just thought id add that the lady that plays Sierra is form Adelaide she went to my high school and i think its great that she is in an american TV show but she isnt a great actor

I've only watched the first two episodes and wasn't that impressed. That said, it took a season and a half for Buffy to take off, so I'll probably give it another chance once the season's complete. Got enough shows to watch for now.

Very bad news about Dollhouse I told you that that the ratings for last week were 6.5 well it turns out that the website I got it from was wrong

It was actualy ONLY 3.49 making it the LOWEST rated Dollhouse episode and the lowest rating show of the night
and it was the most heavily promoted Episode.

I now have serious doubts about the show, now this is all bringing back memeories of Tru Calling and firefly.

But they said that there are alot of TV records for the show making the shows ratings better but they have to bee watching to count.

I think it is sad its a really good show but FOX the dickheads had to give it a 8:30pm Friday night slot when it was supposed to be on Tuesday 8:30pm but they had to change I really hate them.

Probably not as much as I hate ABC for cancelling Pushing Daisies. EVERYONE WATCH PUSHING DAISIES!

Good news rumors going around saying that FOX is giving Dollhouse a second season and changing the air date instead of Friday (thank God) although they are not happy with the ratings they are happy to hear that the reviews say it is getting better and that the recordings are extremely high and that the crowd they were hoping get were not watching it on that night. (they were obviously meaning Geeks/Sci Fi nerds because they were expecting them to be home and not have a social life on a Friday night). anyway lets hope theese rumors are true I really want to see more Dollhouse

bad news FOX is not airing the season finale (episode 13) of Dollhouse although they did pay for it).

My theory is that they are not playing the season finale because the final episode will include a cliffhanger for next season and by the way the ratings have been going im gonna say there is not gonna be season 2 which means they do not want that to happen because they are gonna cancel it and they wanna end it clean and without questions.

anyway im off to wath episode 9 it doesnt look as good as last episode but it still looks ok

I just watched episode 9 it was actually better than last weeks suprisingly it started some interesting questions.

next week doesnt look too bad either but not as good as this weeks or the previous weeks but still looks interesting. Im waiting for the ratings to be announced it gets released soon.

Has anyone else seen this episode???????
