Default Epic Mickey

Discuss the rather anticipated Epic Mickey here.

Thought I'd point this out to kick things off (I noticed this when I started up my computer, the image is my background).

Awesome new details and screenshots in the scans below.

Lots of new scans, 16 October 2009

I guess there is - hasn't been posted in for over a few months though. . surprising.

This can probably stay in the 'Gaming Hub' thread until official re-confirmation of the game's exclusivity is released.

Until then however - some concept art:

"Beach Filtered"

"Beetleworx"

"Beetle Thing"

"Cityscape"

"Mean Street"

Castle concept

"Tomorrowland"

Most of which can be found on Gary Glover's homepage -> Gary Glover Illustration

From various references, including the circled section of the wallpaper - antagonists include Oswald the Lucky Rabbit and The Phantom Blot.

And for the awesome factor:

Spoiler

These grotesque looking enemies are starting to give me the impression the developers are just using them as attempts to make this game look mature, or in another sense, 'badass'.

...Shit, good point you have.
As far as I know all threads so far have been news threads.
And the thing I circled is indeed the main antagonist, Oswald the Lucky Rabbit.

It's working for me..

And thanks for posting the art, I would have done it myself, only I'm far too lazy.

Hm, sorry about the double thread, too... Lock if necessary, as always.

I think it really branches out to a wider audience, to add a darker theme to the Disney universe. It's a good thing for it's somewhat lacklustre male demographic, and it's really working. I'm glad the weapons seem to be based on "classical" art utensils. As long as they don't go all gung-ho and add sniper rifles or any other firearm, this will be great.

Mmmmm. Delicious, ridiculously overblown steampunk.

Although subtle, my point exactly. At this rate, I think it's maybe looking like they could go over the top with the adult side. As long as they don't, it should be fine.
