While Namco Bandai doesn't seem too keen on ever giving the series a chance down here, they've today revealed the first details on Taiko Drum Master Wii: Dodon to Ni-Dai-Me, the second Wii entry in the long running rhythm-drumming series.

As per usual, the game is sporting some major cross overs for its soundtrack, including the theme songs to Neon Genesis Evangelion, Dragon Ball and Naruto. Nintendo's joining in again (the series has previously featured Mario tunes) with songs from Pokémon Diamond/Pearl and the main theme to Square Enix's Dragon Quest IX will be featured.

The cast from iDOLM@STER also make an appearance, including trap-character Ryo Akizuki. New to the Taiko Drum Master series is a boss battle mode where opponents will try and prevent you from hitting the beats and mix bombs in with the flow.

Sounds great. I really need to get me one of those drum sets for Wii one time. Maybe I should look to see how much they sell for on ebay.

I played some Taiko at Manifest X. Was hella hard, you really had to beat it. Dunno if that's faulty equipment or not though, haha...

They've went way overboard with the DESUUU~ factor of this game.

But I still want it. Pokeman music! And the intro theme to Evangelion is pretty sick, too.
