![]() Quickly, act surprised! Nintendo of Japan has put up a mammoth interview with Shigeru Miyamoto, and while the English version is a while off, some Zelda related tidbits have already been translated. "About MotionPlus. We're implementing it so that players can feel like they themselves are holding the sword. In the previous Zelda (Twilight Princess) the targeting was based on the IR pointer. This time however, we'll be using MotionPlus for a variety of more convenient targeting systems that will allow for more pleasant gameplay." And some promising information regarding The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks, due out later this year on DS; "[Spirit Tracks] will be really fun. It's turning out to be rather challenging. Many of our Japanese customers were introduced to the Zelda series with Phantom Hourglass, and Spirit Tracks could prove to be kind of hard for them, but I thought we'd show them what Zelda is really made of this time around. So it's turning into quite a unique title." Look out for the full Q&A... eventually! ![]()

Heh, not surprised MotionPlus has been confirmed for the next Zelda game.
Phantom Hourglass wasn't really for me, but I'm willing to give Spirit Tracks a go as well. |

The only bad part about Phantom Hourglass was that you had to continously go back to the Temple of the Ocean King. Otherwise it was the perfect portable Zelda. I just hope that Spirit Tracks can add something new.

I hate that pose. Looks like Link is having troubles lifting his sword.
Sniped this news in the thread :P

I just can't imagine starting with Phantom Hourglass. It was kinda bland IMO and wouldn't give me a good impression on the series. That's just me though :/

Didn't Miyamoto already confirm this in a previous interview? In fact, I'm sure I can recall him saying several times that the next Zelda would have MP implemented...
Not really surprised, but it's good to have a solid confirmation like this. Super hyped for the next game now.
