Default DS gets a Mega Man Zero compilation

Capcom is set to package together all four games in the Mega Man Zero series on one handy DS cartridge. The game's official website hasn't fully opened up yet, so we don't know if they plan to update these in any way over the original GBA versions or add any new features.

The Mega Man Zero games are increasingly difficult to track down, especially in the Downunderverse, so this is a welcome decision indeed. Mega Man Zero Collection (Rockman Zero Collection) launches in Japan April 22nd - a local release shouldn't be too far behind, hopefully.

Fantastic! I've only beaten the first in the series and only own the second, so this is a welcome occurence. Will buy without a doubt, what I've played of MMZ1 and 2 are absolutely fantastic.

I'm generally not one to prefer a rehash to an original game, but I'd take this over ZX3 (as much as I enjoyed the first two) every time.

Wow its like a punishment multi-pak. MMZ2 was my favourite, finished the **** out of that bitch.

Since ZX and ZXA did pretty terribly they should just throw them in ;P

I liked ZX and ZXA...

I wonder if you could somehow use the data from these for the ZX/A bonus stuff?

I would still like a ZX3 though. I'm not sure where it could lead, but I preferred the ZX series for some reason.

Seriously where did this come out of!? Someone give Capcom a gold star for this good effort. Truly a rehash compilation done RIGHT! Just make sure there are copies of these available in Australia and consider me sold! (The MMZ were truly impossible to find when I tried looking for them)

Sounds quite good. I never completed Megaman Zero as I found it quite hard. Maybe I can have another crack with this one.

Well its nice when companies realise their games are good and that its better to give out a good value package than to let them rot trying to sell them for $70 a pop (hi Chrono Trigger). As great as CT was, I didn't buy it simply because SE was being greedy as lots of other SNES classics are juts $12 on the VC, which for many is arguably still to much when you compare it to stuff like the collections SEGA puts out.

Sweet, it's like Capcom knows I love Zero and is showering me with love. Between this and his inclusion in Tatsunoko vs Capcom I'm in heaven. Megaman Zero heaven anyway. =P

I played a couple of them a while ago but I'm all for owning this wonderful series. Yay for re-releases!

Awesome news! I would rather the Megaman X series, as it is impossible too find copies on the snes.

I'm pretty sure they did that on the Gamecube once, the "Megaman X Anthology" I believe. I don't know if it was ever released down here though.

But I'm totally with you on that, a portable X collection would be awesome. But we'll take it one series at a time eh? =P

Yeah, the two Cube collections were US/JP only. Totalame.

I don't know anything about MMZ, but I liked MM2 and the first two on Game Boy, so I'm looking forward to this!

Holy Crap! This is so awesome.

My girlfriend got me the complete gba series megaman zero artbook for christmas.
Since then I've been playing the whole series through, up to the 4th game. They are all
balls hard, but absolutely fantastic. A quarter of the way through the 4th game now.

I hope there is bonus content on the DS.

AWESOME! I only got to play Zero 1 and 4.

Mega Man Anniversary Collection for Wii? *puppy dog eyes* I always wanted it on Gamecube. Then again, there's VC. Slow 50Hz Mega Man ftl
