God, it's been a while since I've been here...
I've just bought a DS. Marvellous little thing it is. Whenever I try to connect to my wireless signal, it doesn't show up on the access point list. I KNOW it works, because I run both my Laptop and my Wii off it. It's a D-Link DSL-G604T. Any assistance would be appreciated...

I have a DSi. I've tried the manual setup, but not all the details of the router are available to me -.-'
Pain in the arse.

Nope. I've made sure of that this time. It's all switched on.
Everything's able to pick up the wireless signal but my DS. Even my faggy older brother can get it.

So far, just the WEP key is missing. But my router doesn't even HAVE one as far as I know. It's an open system.
EDIT: Okay, just did the whole thing manually, turns out I don't need the WEP key, but it STILL won't connect. What the hell.

Nope, no firewalls. Like I said, it's accessable by everything in the house: Laptops, Wii and computer.

Hm.
So it'll connect and a connection test is unsuccessful? Or won't even connect? And the router is completely unsecured, is visible to the DS and every other wireless contraption, umm... no IP conflicts or anything like that... not sure I can think of anything else to ask :/

Not quite. It's invisible to the DS, but visible to every other device in the house. The DS will not recieve the signal even when it's a centimetre away from the router.

Theeeeeen I have no idea at all, since you already said the SSID broadcast is on, and that's the only thing I could think that it would be :/

Was going to write out heaps by hand, then remembered I still had the page bookmarked where I found it from last time. I have the same router and everything works fine on mine now.
http://www.wirelessroomservice.com/u...intendo-ds-wfc It has some pretty nifty little tweaks. Not sure why Nintendo made the DS so hard to do anything with when it comes to wireless.

Thanks for the link, but it hasn't helped...
I figure I'll just go and buy a DS Wireless USB thingo. It'll be easier than farting around with this piece of junk.
