More 'good games' on the way for Wii says Reggie
Posted November 7, 2011 12:01 PM by Lucario
With Nintendo of America appearing to not be interested in localising JRPG titles such as Xenoblade Chronicles, The Last Story and Pandora's Tower, many thought that Wii support from Nintendo would end with The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword in November, this however doesn't seem to be the case.
Australia and Europe still have The Last Story and Pandora's Tower on the Wii to look forward to in 2012 but there appears to be more than that in the works. Reggie Fils-Aime, president of Nintendo America has stated that there are more 'good games' heading to the Wii after Skyward Sword and we will be receiving news about these new titles in December or early January.
The Wii was a massive success and even after the Wii U's launch, it would be a bad business move for Nintendo to stop support simply because a superior model is out. Much like how Nintendo DS games are still in development, the market for the Wii is simply too large to just forget about.
What else would you like to see on the Wii?
