Vigil Games discusses developing Darksiders II on Wii U
Posted November 29, 2011 10:26 AM by Lucario
Nintendo didn't go into much detail with the Wii U at E3 this year, leaving most of the focus on the third-party developers who will be bringing their hardcore titles to the system upon release. One of those third-party developers is Vigil Games who are currently developing Darksiders II for the Wii U. Game Informer recently had a chat with general manager David Adams and technical director Colin Bonstead and even filmed the interview in the process.
In the time before E3 that Vigil Games received the Wii U development kit, the team managed to get a port of Darksiders II fully running on the system, as we know though Nintendo chose to use footage from the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 ports of the games instead.
From the interview it seems Vigil are very happy with developing for the Wii U and the support they've received from Nintendo, the team has even discovered a few little kinks along the way which has helped Nintendo iron out.
You can check out the full interview below and let us know whether Darksiders II on the Wii U interests you.
