I got this trauma centre game from america... it is frigging fantastic, and almost a must have title if you have someone to co-op with. Ridiculously fun to play.

So that means that Trauma Centre Second Opinion did pretty well in Australia?

It's also funny how the OFLC sticker "fits" on the New Play Control cover. An M rating blend in just fine.

I will definitely be picking up Trauma centre and Fire Emblem. Im not too sure about pikmin though, i never played the original but i have always had a slight interest in it. So i might pick that up as well. the next big Nintendo release should hopefully be Punch Out. **Fingers Crossed***

I may end up getting pikmin, if the price is right. Never played it so I would like to see why people enjoy it.

But will we get the option to flip the cover inside out like Japan for a clean print without the 'play for wii' banners all over the art? Or are Nintendo Aus saving a quick buck by skipping that little treat?

How much is Pikmin and these other Wii play games?

Apparently UK price is about 30 quid, which is about 70$.

Proof Nintendo only cares about money: Releasing an inferior version of Pikmin on Wii first. The 1st one sucked due to the overly-quick countdown to 'game over'.

Wait for Pikmin 2 remake or just wait for 3.

Well, the Wiimake of it has a new saving system IIRC, so days don't pass by when you don't play or something, I predict. Every day you turn it on will count towards the 30 days, I'm guessing, but maybe they just ditched the 30 days and went with a regular saving system. We'll see, but regardless I want. And I want #2. And #3. And Trauma Center: New Blood.

I want new games not remakes.
Sure Pikmin is probably alot better with new controls & will be great for those who missed it, but honestly can't they just get off their money cushions and produce something new as well like I dunno a new I.P.

The Wii has made them boatloads of money & we get remakes. The Cube sold sh!thouse & look at all the quality games on there.
Stop making cash cows & start releasing new 1st party games. Try reinventing an old franchise like they did with Metroid by viewing it from another perspective. Do that with the Zelda franchise!
It's not too HIGH TECHNICAAAAL for you is it Nintendo?
This is because Nintendo are getting complacent, they've sold a bazillions Wii's & know they can get away with it.
Most of the games i'm looking forward to on Wii this year are from 3rd parties.

Anyhoo that's my rant over with, I feel alot better now.

Time to ease the pain with a few alcoholic beverages, to the fridge my good steed!

Nintendo Australia, to my knowledge, does not do any printing, only distribution of the soft/hardware in Australia.

Trauma Centre: New Blood. All I can say is FINALLY. Geez.

I saw it in the shop the other day and was quite surprised. Promptly went to buy it, only to realise it had been sitting on the 'Coming Soon' shelf. Gah. Not long now though.

I'll be picking up Fire Emblem and Pikmin at some point. I have too many games on my wishlist so they'll have to wait a bit. :( Halo Wars, Fallout 3 and LittleBigPlanet get first priority.

Looking forward to Metroid Prime and Metroid Prime 2: Echoes when they eventually come out with the new controls, despite the fact that i've played each at least 15 or so times through. Most of those playthroughs come from me anticipating the crap out of Corruption.

I WANT FIRE EMBLEM! 'Nuff said.

The new class system is a little confusing, but it still looks awesome. Well, not even confusing... just different and... whatever. Gimme gimme gimme!

Hopefully I'll have the cash by then. xD;

It all hinges on price really, Pikmin is an oooooold game. I know Nintendo won't do anything remotely bargainous like $10 for BG&E or $30 for all of the MGS games, but if they decide its worth $80 I think they are fooling themselves. Pikmin is old enough such that they should have really bundled Pikmin 1+2 for $50.

I'm sure they are involved in the design of the OFLC-bearing DVD sleeves. They probably send them off to wherever the PAL versions made for printing and assembly.
