"That's why you're still a kid"

Hudson Soft wants to make Wii owners all wet with their latest first person shooter/soaker for WiiWare. Featuring head to head or team-based play, Water Warfare arms players with an assortment of deadly water pistols. There's even a 'rocket launcher' water pistol, apparently!

Make a splash in environments such as the playground and beach while picking up items like the fabled 'towel' to protect yourself. Power-ups can also be found strewn about each arena - watch out for that umbrella, it can flick droplets everywhere! Both local and online play is supported; the game's expected to launch next month.

"Soakicide" - Let's have babies, Hudson.

At last, some more quality FPS action on the Wii. Look out Halo 3 and Killzone 2!

This is actually a smart idea. First you get the little kiddies in, playing "shooters". Then you get them to play actual shooters, as they already know how to play. GENIUS!

Hudson are actually doing us a favour.

Oh and infernal, I want to warn you of the sexual nature of some of the sentences in the review, before someone else does.

But little kids shouldn't be playing other shooters, seeing as other shooters are often violent and unsuitable for children.

Man this was my exact concept for a game.. Title and all.

Obviously it wasn't very original, but a water fight themed FPS has alot of potential for fast fun. If done right anyway. My concept had sprinkler landmine type things and hoses which acted like machine guns.

Hopefully they can make up for the issues in Onslaught.

This looks more PvP oriented too. Too bad the graphics are worse. I understand that it's cartoony, but so is Viva Pinata and that has all these awesome special effects. I'm sure it's not THAT hard to put bloom and pretty water effects in a Wii-Ware game. It's the least they could do.

I got it and it is purdy fun.
Mission mode lasted me around 3 hours to get all gold medals on but online makes up for it.
