Nintendo America (and inevitably Europe and Australia) have confirmed that the DSi Shop will be updated with new software weekly unlike it's Japanese counterpart which is bombarded monthly. Nintendo America have renamed their "Wii-kly Updates" newsletter to the "Nintendo Download" to compensate for this as updates will no longer only concern the Virtual Console/WiiWare.
Nintendo stated on their press release "Like the Wii Shop Channel, the Nintendo DSi Shop will offer a growing library of downloadable games, with new titles added every week".
Brace yourself people, those attending the launch party in Melbourne tonight will have their hands on the DSi in only a matter of hours.

But my purrrrrrty white one will be ready for pickup tomorrow morning :)
I'm not going, I start work at 5am and I need my beauty sleep.
I have to wait in a small country town untill 9am just to get my precious black DSi. T.T
besides the free internet browser.

Anyhoo, be sure to let us know what games are available when you get back from it! (Provided you're actually going, of course.) I'll be going into work tomorrow night to grab mine.
