THQ announces Big Family Games

Remember BIG Beach Sports? It was - and still is - the only Wii game to try its hand at cricket. Of course, it failed miserably, but the game still managed to sell over 600,000 copies in PAL regions. THQ is looking to put a certain percent of that profit into the development of its follow-up; BIG Family Games. Yeah, apparently its not just Big, it's BIG.

BIG Family Games will feature 24 mini-games set in a run-down neighbourhood populated by children suffering Elephantiasis of the head. Quite a step-up from the mere six games featured on the beach. It'll include golf, tennis, ladder golf, lawn darts, horseshoes and bocce. "The game takes advantage of the Wii’s intuitive controls delivering a pick up and play experience for the whole family. BIG Family Games is a perfect way to get the whole family playing together." Just make sure your family consists of four people or less.

BIG Family Games is due out this May.

Well, the graphics are an improvement over BIG Beach Sports...

That guy in the bottom pic has no neck!
I'm confused on what's going on there, by the looks of it a pelican is about to bite him and the kid is heading for his groin.

Bah if it sold 600,000 in PAL regions I can only imagine how much this one would sell.
