The countdown to doomsday has begun

Only one game for the Australian Virtual Console this week, but it's a good one! Surprisingly, The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask has landed on our VC just days after it was announced Japan would be receiving it. It's up to us to save the world.

"The acclaimed sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time arrives on Virtual Console! Link must wield the power of several magical masks to save the land from destruction – and he has only 72 hours to do it! Majora's Mask is an epic, gripping race against time that should belong in every fan's collection."

Waitin' for the moon to drop.

FINALLY....the only Zelda game i have never owned/played.......besides zelda2 which i dont really care about....totally getting ths today

Man, what a great week in the world of Nintendo. First the DSi (with the bonus 1000 Nintendo points, and a free 4GB SD card thanks to EB Games!), and now Majora's Mask completely out of the blue.

Awesomeness!

Man that is soo awesome!
I would so buy this on VC if i didn't already own it on N64 and GCN (gamecube).
Also, if i wasn't 100 points of that magic 1000 n64 point requirement i might have bought it, just to have it on my wii.
Well, heres to hoping nintendo will release some more worthwhile games.

Very nice. I already have it on Collector's Edition, so I'll pass, but I'm sure todays update made many a gamer very happy.

I've never played Majora's Mask, and was really surprised that we got it so soon after the Japanese announcement. I'm downloading it now, planning on playing it later in the week.

Hopefully this now puts an end to the rediculous prices people were asking for that Collector's Edition.

The only Previous Gen Zelda console titles (Excluding Handhelds) that you can't get now for the Wii is Wind Waker correct?

Perfect Timing, I just managed to save up 30$, although I still have the Dilema of getting this and some other N64 game or getting World of Goo and possibly buying a NES title.

Haha, I know that. :p I don't understand why he's going to buy one of the few Zelda games he owns again, when he could put the money towards a different Zelda game that he hasn't played before. Surely if you're willing to buy the same game twice, you'd be curious about the other games in the series. :p

I dont really like MM very much.

I have the Zelda collectors edition on the gamecube anyway wich has MM on it.

lol, Oh okaay... but he wrote he hasn't owned or played MM.... :p

Downloaded Majora's this arvo. (borrowed my mum's credit card xD) I do own the cart, but I got it on wii cause my 64 controllers are stuffed and I've wanted to play it over again for ages! Ah the nostalgia! I am very happy. :D It plays quite nicely on the wii.

Didn't expect it this soon after just being announced for the JPN VC.

Won't be getting it, personally. Happy with my N64 cart and GCN Collection disc.

I jumped up and down with excitement when I saw Majora's Mask on the Wii Shop Channel :P I never owned the game. I only played it at my friends house years ago and never got very far. Must get!
