Box art roundup (29th of March - 4th of April)

I really hope that isn't Cursed Mountain's final design. Some monk that's been in the bath too long isn't very interesting. It doesn't exactly make my bladder want to expel urine, either. It's a bit odd, considering Deep Silver's also publishing Purr Pals, which has a soul-destroying, nightmare-ish cover.
My Happy Kitchen is Ubisoft's 472nd Cooking Mama clone. But it's okay, this one involves food-friends that you lull into a false sense of security before devouring them as tomato sauce splatters everywhere. Well, except that happy looking broccoli - he's safe forever. After feeding, the main character steals a car and runs down people at a bus stop. Just like Cooking Mama.
I'm pretty sure Line Rider Freestyle is just the same as Line Rider 2: Unbound which came out in America last year. Then again, maybe it's a whole new game. I tried to do some Internet research, but got bored before I could even finish typing Line Rider into Google. Pure dedication!
Popcorn Arcade's back, give them a hug! Figures they'd be the ones to publish that bloody pig game that was featured in the American section last week. Urban Extreme: Street Rage - how grand! STREET RAGE. "Yo, you lost the race!" "Because of that DAMN STREET, IT'S SO DUMB AND I HATE IT" "It's just asphalt concrete, man, calm down". Clever kids dress up as pirates and have some 'fun' on the farm. I see. Tell me more, Midas Games!
The Conduit's box art is so 16-bit era. SEGA's been trying to bring that back lately, what with Mystery Dungeon and Crush. So awesome. The Wii Wheel bundle is going to do so much for Excitebots. Well, I hope it will, anyway. Big EXCITE needs big sales.
Why are all the LEGO people angry? Yeah, it's been about... fifteen years since I last had the pleasure of playing with LEGO, but I don't remember ANGER. They all had happy faces! If they did battle, they did it with a smile. Now it's evil, twisted smiles. This is terrible, I'm going to go cry into a pillow about this.
Miami Law looks to be worth following. Part Chase H.Q, part Time Crisis, with some point and click type adventure stuff mixed in. Joint project by Hudson and Gaijin Games, who despite being around for years, only just released their first game last month (BIT. TRIP BEAT on WiiWare).
Tsk, Kizuna's sad looking main character is kind of fitting. This will be the last video game from Jaleco, they bowed out of the industry earlier this year. Apparently they're focusing on, uh... home security now. Yep, Arc Rise Fantasia is back. It has a new background now! Wow! It also helped pad out the Japanese section. Ah, content.
Majo ni Naru seems to be an RPG of some sort. You attend a school for witches and eat brooms for breakfast, lunch and tea while fighting Hagrid. Just like Cooking Mama. I think.

The box arts are getting better. A few titles worth looking at.

Infinite Space should be interesting considering its the first handheld game out of Platinumgames. Of course, it needs to make it out into the English speaking countries first

I'm really curious to how Cursed Mountain turns out, I'm not a fan of the box-art though.
Damn the US have a pretty decent line-up...

I sure hope that's a terrorist plane about to bomb them.
And what the hell is the robot doing in the Clever Kids! Pirates! box art? I won't be happy if I don't get robot pirates.

Holy hell, the Conduit's boxart looks freaking awesome.
I'ma add it to my list of "must buy" games.

I wonder how much they paid Madonna to appear on the cover of Cursed Mountain?

YES! Now THAT'S a The Conduit box! Unlike that other one.
Also, Majo ni Naru looks kawaii. I wonder what it's about?

What's the "other one"? I had a quick look on google, but there were a whole bunch of home-made ones.

Cursed Mountain looks terrible. Conduit is very much straight from the 90s, but I really don't think that actually helps sell these days.
I've not heard of this Miami Law, will watch. Kizuna is nice, Arc Rise Fantasia looks exactly like Vesperia and Infinite Space another one I have my eyes on.
All I have to say is ffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff DS =S

I really dig The Conduit's boxart, despite its retro origins. Excitebots looks good too.

The Conduit boxart is awesome (for a ninties boxart), and what the hell is with Cursed Mountains boxart, yucky and sucky!
Hope these games are better than their boxart.
Has anyone heard anything more about Cursed Mountain?
I've seen a few pics of the artwork but no actual screenshots or vids. The story is also intriguing but i've seen nothing more on it. Time to worry me thinks.
Reminds me of another game called Sadness, great ideas and promises, and then................ nothing!

The Conduit boxart is great. Now I feel like buying the game even more than what I did before. Hopefully it won't be dumped over here like the rest of High Voltage's games were. Then again, they weren't being published by Sega, I do believe.

Could this be a more lame and stale and generic boxart?
Why not a wide-scope of the town in the mountain the dude is exploring?
Why focus on one enemy?
Stupid cover.
