Nintendo's latest release schedule

Posted 31st of July, 2009 at 07:37 pm by Infernal Monkey Infernal Monkey is online now

Nintendo has updated their release schedule for first party titles in Japan, America and Europe. No big surprises, but it looks like Endless Ocean 2 is on track for a Q4 2009 release in Europe, along with Spirit Tracks and the latest Mario & Luigi.

Japan's finally getting Advance Wars: Dark Conflict (Famicom Wars DS 2), and they're still taunting us with that bloody Kirby Wii game. Oh, plus there's a distinct lack of Trace Memory: R (Another Code: R) for America.

Some nice stuff, but I can wait for most of it to go cheap. After a long stint of getting every damn Zelda the moment it came out I think Spirit Tracks can wait. I'll pick up Metroid: Other M on launch I suspect.

Kinda unrelated but Ace Attorney Investigations is also day one for me.

I don't like Metroid for many reasons - plain and simple.

Like Gook said, this list lacks F-Zero but also StarFox, Zelda Wii and enticing original IPs.

Yeah, it does, but there's probably good reasoning behind that, hell, all three could be in steady development, i'd like to think they are anyway. I reckon by may - to - august 2010, we'll see some tidibits of news about Starfox, and F-Zero in particular, but we definatly wont be getting either two titles this year.

Line Attack Heroes should be good, it is from the creator of Secret of Mana.

...Zelda Wii? Where the **** are you? I don't really care much for ST. Galaxy 2, Other M and The Trilogy are the only things that caught my attention on this list. And HG/SS, but that's Japan only, so meh.

WTF? Europe still doesn't have Kirby Super Star Ultra... That game was released nearly 9 months ago here in Aus... Weird... Lol
