Home Entertainment Suppliers (HES) has announced Rugby League 3 for the Wii. The title will be exclusive to the system and makes realistic use of its motion controls. Sidhe Interactive is working on the game - the developer behind the two Rugby League games for PS2 and Xbox.
"The production team has been able to leverage significant past experience and extensive feedback from consumers in the development of this title. As a result, Rugby League 3 takes the series to new heights, delivering a richer, deeper and more immersive experience than ever before," said Mario Wynands, Managing Director of Sidhe Interactive.
"We are extremely pleased to be publishing a new Rugby League title with such fresh features, content, and innovations across the board,” said David Robles, Business Development Manager for HES. “Rugby League 3 is a significant and worthy addition to the franchise".
The game features 38 stadiums and over 80 teams from competitions including NRL, Super League, Toyota Cup, UK Championship, UK Championship 1, State of Origin, City v Country and internationals.
Players can create their own players, teams and competitions. There's also a fully-featured Multi-year Franchise Mode with advanced player management. Rugby League 3 is due out in Australia before the end of the year.
