In a very surprising move, Activision have made a very interesting change to their current line up of James Bond titles. Namely in the fact that the current actor playing James Bond, Daniel Craig, will not be reprising his role for the company's latest Bond title - a racing game helmed by Project Gotham Racing developers Bizarre Creations. The actor scheduled to replace Craig is Adam Croasdell. You might not know him by name, but some of you may know him for his work on UK soap EastEnders, playing the role of Dr Al Jenkins.

It's Bond yo.
The news of Croasdell's appointment as James Bond came int he form of an interview he did with BBC Asian Network (via Kotaku), and seemed rather chuffed to have actually portrayed the iconic spy: "Oddly enough I have just played James Bond in the new James Bond video game - how weird is that? I don't know what the future holds, but I'm always into varying up what comes my way, trying new things."
Given the fact that the Bond license is something that Activision could very easily make a lot of games for, it makes sense that they wouldn't be able to secure Daniel Craig to do mo-cap/voice over work for all of them, save for the ones directly tied into the movies. Either way, it's a very interesting development. Now let's see how other people attempt to accept him as the a new Bond.
