The votes are in, and New Super Mario Bros. Wii won by a landslide. A-N member ungodly_gamer is very kindly supplying two copies of the game for you to win!

We've seen Mario dress up as a lot of things over the years, including a frog, raccoon, bumble bee, tanuki and penguin. Now it's your turn to get creative! In 25 words or less, what kind of suit do you think Mario should have next, and what special power would it give him?

That was fun - looking forward to seeing all the creative entries, as always.

I'm sure there will be a Yoshi Suit somewhere among all the entries - thought of it right after I submitted mine.

I'm gonna take full credit for this. Isn't this 2 for 2 comp ideas that I have come up with for ungodly_gamer?

In any case, I already have the game, but strongly urge anyone who doesn't have the game to enter. It is the best Mario game in a LONG time.

Galaxy was quite possibly one of the most overrated games that I have ever played. The only thing that I thought it had going for it were the nice visuals and soundtrack, but I thought that the actual platforming itself was shit. The boss battles were also rediculously repetitive, considering the fact that it was the exact same damn thing every time. Well with the Bowser fights anyway.

Bought New Super Mario Bros Wii yesterday afternoon, and it's probably the best Mario game since The Thousand Year Door (which I haven't played for aaaages...) and it absolutely hammers the DS game into the ground. This is 2D Mario platforming at its absolute finest!

I've sent my entry but I'm not sure about the suit's usefulness or originality.

These aren't my real submission but a Yoshi Suit would get rid of most Yoshi's usefulness and a DK, Link and Chozo Suit would be fun.

I saw this thread resurface and I felt nervous. I felt as though I hadn't won because I didn't recieve an email from A-N saying I had a private message. I still have a chance though!!

BA-BUMP!! So it's been over for a while now. Sort of wondering how this will all pan out? I'm going on vacation for 18 days starting on the 20th of December, and I sort of want to know the results before I go.

Well seeing as the A-N Xmas give away is in full swing, with plentiful entries by the sounds of things coming in for each day - it wouldn't be unreasonable to consider that the staff are rather swamped with things to do.

I'm sure they're trying to get this comp wrapped up asap.

IIRC, there were so many good entries that all of the staff picked different ones, so we never had a clear winner.
I think this was just forgotten about while preparing for A-N Xmas.
