Australian sales charts - W/E 15th November

Posted 18th of November, 2009 at 08:50 pm by Dave Dave is offline

The big question - where's Mario Kart?
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Super Mario Bros. Wii soar up the charts stomping any games in their path. Cricket stays strong in its second week, while it seems the Rabbids really did go home.
As for DS sales, Bakugan came out of nowhere last week to grab 4th spot and has since stolen top spot (is it going really cheap or something?).

Icarly is a game now? ugh..

Surprised CoD WM2 didn't sell more for PC than XBOX and PS3.

What's with the circle sizes on these charts? I've always wondered, and they seem to change size for no good reason at all.

Seems to be Gfk's handiwork - what are they smoking?

Great to see NSMB Wii in the top 3 - it has the potential to be No. 1, I guess we'll see next week who stands stronger in terms of consistency.

Interesting, but not surprising, to see that New Super Mario Bros. on the DS is creeping up the charts. I would say that I contributed to the recent sales if not for me buying an NTSC copy through ebay.

And as for those Rabbids . . .

I think it means that game wasn't in the top 10 last week.

Edit: nvm, read it completely wrong.

Heh.

Nah, the circle that the "Top 10" part is written in. I think they make these things by cutting out a bunch of pieces of paper, then scanning them in.

orite.. lol

Yeah, probably what Gook said, but I think they've always had a thicker circle for the "All Format" sales.

I'm sure Pixar have nothing to do with development / publishing the game - it's all THQ's hands groping at those Car udders churning out bucket after bucket of milk.

Strange enough for you Gook? :P
