Man marries his Love Plus girlfriend

A mentally stable Japanese man has decided to get serious with his virtual girlfriend in Konami's Love Plus for DS. Shoving her in his pocket, he traveled to Guam in order to legally wed Nene Anegasaki, one of game's three love interests.

He'll be holding a reception back in Japan and has invited the local gaming media to come along and view photos taken at the wedding. Japanese YouTube-style video site NicoNico Douga will be broadcasting the 'event' live on the 22nd of November. You don't want to know what he attempts to use as a stylus whilst playing the game.

Love Plus has been hugely popular in Japan and combined with the fact many of the men who play the games also have interests in anime, I'm not surprised.

Japanese men have been wanting to marry anime characters for quite a while now...
