Me too. I have no idea what's happening. Did someone send instructions into a laser engraver or laithe so that when it moved, it made those sounds, or what?

I'm assuming that's the sound of something being engraved by a laser? Reminds me of the... tesla coil mario theme? Can't remember if that's what it was, but the one with the lightning.

Seeing as it osnly makes a sound when it is moving, Id say the sound it the motor that moves that thing across. It is a higher noise when it moves faster so Im pretty sure thats what it is.

I use a computer aided router at work so this is the noise of the laser moving across the table. Alot of work has been put into this though to get it that accurate. Awesome.
