Australian Zelda: Spirit Tracks box art revealed

Posted 27th of November, 2009 at 01:50 pm by Infernal Monkey Infernal Monkey is offline

Usually this sort of thing would be saved for the weekly roundup, but, well, you know - slow news day/week. Perhaps the least hyped Zelda game since Link was hungry for Octoroks, The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks is due out in just under a fortnight. Nintendo Australia has today decided to show off which box art we're getting.

Yep, the right one. Now America is the only odd one out. The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks hits December 10th. You must stand behind the yellow line until it arrives.

Personally, I prefer the one most of the world is getting over the American one. Looks more lively and stuff. Silly yanks and their fondness of grey. =P

Less train on the boxart would be nice.

I hope so too. Phantom Hourglass was rather bland.

I like that box art a lot. Can't wait for this, I liked Phantom Hourglass and I have high hopes for this.

Ditto, I'm optimistic that Nintendo will have done away with the repetitive play akin to the Temple of the Ocean King and replaced it with repetitive train navigating.

I thought NAL were going with the North American one since the Phantom Hourglass art is similar to NOA's Spirit Tracks. I have a feeling we can see some European box art for Phantom Hourglass soon, since NAL replaced the american box art for The Curious Village.

There is still a temple you have to go back to I believe, I didn't hate the temple of the ocean king though so it doesn't bother me. They fixed rolling though apparently!

I can't help but feel the grey one would have fitted better on our shelves with Phantom Hourglass' similar box-art.
But on it's own, the colourful one is great. I wish we got the colourful sailing one for Phantom Hourglass so there'd be no issue at all. Meh.

I'm quite looking forward to this, and as I've read that they've improved over the repetitive Temple of the Ocean King, Spirit Tracks should be a lot better than Phantom Hourglass. And hopefully there won't be a timed limit inside the new Spirit Tower.

Ah, so glad we didn't get stuck with the American box art. Renders standing in front of a texture don't do it for me. Something entirely original like this really works.

As above. Although I probably won't end up getting around to grabbing it for a while. Which I believe is what I did with PH too.

The box art looks really good, at least it's a bit more cheery than the American one. It reflects the game better, cause I know this won't be as dark as MM or TP...

I'd be the same except I asked for it for Christmas so I don't even have to worry about having to get it. Pretty sure I got Phantom Hourglass for Christmas as well. Mum is a good egg.

Whats with that fluoro green tint on the japanese one? I guess they're attracted to that kind of stuff.
