Silent Hill fans, set your faces to 'frown'. Word has it that talented video game composer Akira Yamaoka has left Konami after 16 years on the job. Responsible for the incredible music in the Silent Hill series, Contra: Shattered Soldier, Sparkster: Rocket Knight Adventures 2 and more, it's not known what he plans to do next. Konami has yet to make the official announcement - if they ever actually do - but a close source has essentially confirmed it to Aeropause.
The upcoming Silent Hill: Shattered Memories will feature the last soundtrack he'll have worked on for Konami.
Silent Hill 2 - Theme of Laura
Contra: Shattered Soldier - Mountains Area
Sparkster: Rocket Knight Adventures 2 - Ancient Ruins
