Hm... The characters and graphics seem a bit un-inspired, but I'm still interested.

Not a fan of the Tales series, GazzTF? I mean... They all look somewhat the same because they're designed by manga/anime artists. Graces' artwork is from Mutsumi Inomata who worked on Mobile Suit Gundam SEED, among others.

Anyway - can't wait for this one when/ IF it gets a local release. Still - Symphonia: Dawn of the new World will tie me over till then.

The PSone has some great graphics these days.

Mutsumi Inomata's style is quite a fair bit different than Kosuke Fujishima, yeah. I feel that Fujishima's style resonates better with me, whereas all these designs look a bit similiar.

I recently finished ToS:DotNW, and despite it's shortcomings, really did enjoy it a lot. Damn I love it.
Anyway, I still can't get excited by this yet... I might just need a break from Tales.

It would be great if this got localised, I guess all we can do is wait...

Oh on the contrary, I own and love both Symphonia and Vesperia, am playing through Phantasia, want to get Symphonia 2 and am looking foward to this game (and the possibly Vesperia sequel).
It's just the graphics seem a tad plain, and the characters just look a little... Well, all I really see is a bunch of teenagers with multiple coloured hair and fashion that doesn't really seem very unique.
I hate to bring Final Fantasy in to this, but the only thing I compare this to is... FF7 has a party of very varied and unique characters. But then the next game, FF8, had a party of 6 teenagers (all but one of them students) that weren't as varied and creative as the last game's party.

But I'm sure a lot of this is all about getting to know the characters, and how these characters are written is the main thing. Their actual anime portraits atleast show what they're supposed to look like, and they do look very different.
