BlazBlue: Battle X Battle rocks DSiWare

Posted 11th of December, 2009 at 11:49 pm by Infernal Monkey Infernal Monkey is online now

The Wii may have missed out on BlazBlue - Arc System Works' spiritual successor to Guilty Gear - but DSi owners are set to receive a super-deformed brawler based on the title. BlazBlue: Battle X Battle appears to be a free-roaming arena fighter similar to the Power Stone series, but full details have yet to be revealed.

For now, it features four player battles, costs 500 Points and hits the Japanese DSiWare service next month, just ahead of the PSP port of BlazBlue. The wheel of fate is turning, it's doing donuts in the parking lot.

Sweet. I can't wait for BlazBlue to come out on in Feburary on the PS3/Xbox 360 as well as the PSP counterpart. Hopefully this will be just as good and if it plays out like Power Stone, that'd be awesome.

But only if it gets released here on the DSiWare though.

I'm rather interested by this as BlazBlue has been on my wish list for some time now. Though I'm not too sure about this style, but I guess I'll just wait for more info.

Can't wait for February now that I know I'll have a working arcade stick to play with. I know I could always just get a US copy of the game from Dungeon Crawl, but I've heard PAL editions are receiving extra content/characters to make up for the delay - and I'm a sucker for content ;)
