Pokemon HeartGold and SoulSilver US boxarts

Amazon.com have posted the official US boxarts for Pokemon HeartGold and SoulSilver Version on their site, they also have a March 14th release date listed which could be correct since they've obtained the first boxarts images. Korea will be getting the games on February 4th, we may get it around the same time especially since we received both the Arceus event and movie before the US last month. As seen on the cover, the PokeWalker has also been confirmed for a western release and will keep its translated name.

So I guess those boxes confirm the Poke Walker will be available outside of Japan.

I just might cave and buy copies of HeartGold AND SoulSilver - sooo weak

I dont like the large printed Pokemon heart gold/ soul silver print it detracts from the rest of the box. I actualy just got a japanese copy yesterday so Im not actualy interested in the english ones anymore :P

Nice the Soulsilver boxart has some classyness to it, check out that Blue text, its pretty fitting imo.

Great to finally see the box art. Well, not really- doesn't look too special. But the fact that it's associated with a imminent release is what makes it worth it.

Maybe you should try the spin offs. It's kinda hard to transform the mainstream Pokemon games after they've been sticking to the original formula for so long.

If anything, Gold/Silver WERE Pokemon 2 - while keeping the original game mostly intact (to the point of having Kanto featured in the 2nd half) it did SO much for the series. Breeding, Day/Night, Shinies! What have the next few game done for the series ... contests :(

Indeed. GSC was a true sequel, as evident by you being able to go back to Kanto and seeing how much it's changed, as well as the amount of extra features it added.

If you ask me, all the Pokemon games have improved upon their predecessors just as G/S has, if not better. Excluding the remakes, of course.

Kanto has been changed for the worse in G/S/C. Kanto's content has been stripped down to the point that it looked like it got hit by a nuclear explosion. Such as Viridian Forest being a simple route with no wild pokemon and Seafoam Islands having just one short room.

In my opinion it looks the same, just the logo is in English instead of Japanese.

Knowing Nintendo, all the time from when HG &SS were released in Japan to now was probably spent on translating the box, probably haven't even started on the game yet.

I'm starting to look forward to this again.

I like the boxart, same deal but with english. And I actually like the big fancy looking "HeartGold" and "SoulSilver" on the cover, it's much better than going with the standard font they've used for every box until now. Nice touch.

This'll be awesome whenever it comes out, goin' on an adventure with Cyndaquil all over again! x3

It's a sad day when Australia is bundled with Korea. It's good to see the box art has stayed true to the classic Gold/Silver.

Now now, we ALL know Nintendo Aus will not include the Poke Walker, just so they can use the space saved on the boxart to better fit the giant PG rating bwahaha
