Box art roundup (13th - 19th of December)
Posted 20th of December, 2009 at 10:37 pm by Infernal Monkey
I still can't possibly understand DHM's decision to split up the Ys double pack up into two separate, full priced releases. That's... $140 AUD compared to say, importing the American package for $35-ish. Not only that, but Legacy of Ys II won't hit until November 2010. Oh, the box art? Yeah it's okay - to frown at.
I think that dude's using the EA logo as a weapon on the latest book collection box.
Aaaaannnd we finally get something to let us know the WarioWare D.I.Y. localisation is still alive. Maybe it'll end up shipping without an English translation, just to really take the name to heart. City Builder's box art looks about as appealing as raw chicken floating in a hazy glass of unflushed toilet water.
Thank you CiNG, for saving this week's roundup. Look out for a special ULTIMATE 'best of/worst of 2009' box art feature sometime later this week! There actually won't be anything ULTIMATE about it at all (not even a lower case ultimate), but that'll be our little secret.

Why wasn't that on the cover of WarioWare Touched?
| I think Kiru meant DS-iWare, but yes there are DS-i exclusive titles that take advantage of the cameras, SD card slot or extra processing power (similar to the clear cartridge GBC-exclusive titles). There are also DS-i Enhanced titles which work on the DS too, but have extra features on the DS-i (similar to the black cartridge GBC titles) |
As far as GBC is concerned, we're talking about colour instead of shades of gray. That's a BIG difference, and even then I didn't agree with the idea of GBC exclusive titles.
You either make everything backwards compatible, or don't make it backwards compatible at all. Talking to you, Xbox 360.

Probably just me not reading any news posts, or whatever. Awesome news nonetheless.
