No More Heroes 2 rated for Australian release

Details are still frustratingly vague about the PAL version of No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle, but Rising Star is definitely bringing it over, and judging by the local rating the fountains of blood may be kept intact this time around.

Why? Well, I'm really only going on the 'strong violence' part. NMH 2 has been slapped with an MA15+ rating, but the original - ash filled - game made it over on M15+, listing 'moderate violence'.

Hopefully Rising Star Games will clear everything up soon.

This is rather relieving. I hope it is the bloody version.

Hmmm was any content taken out? Or is it all still intact?

Sounds like the proper version to me.

So basically the crippling of the original PAL version was totally unnecessary.

Pretty much. Ah well, Suda wanted the game to get a release down here so thanks for the effort Mr. 51. The ash made for less slowdown I think as well :)

Oooh yay, bloody version (going ahead an assuming since we've heard nothing of the latter yet). Will pick it up when it hits $40 or something like the original; most Rising Star games get the price drop within six months I've worked out. :)
