Yes, SEGA has again stepped up to publish something from High Voltage Software. It's not really that surprising, but kind of is at the same time. What a dilemma! Tournament of Legends is the new name for what was initially known as Gladiator A.D.
The game's an arena-based fighter with 10 playable characters. Three weapon sets (light, medium, heavy) are available, and more weapons are unlocked over time. Default controls rely on swinging the Wii Remote and Nunchuk to attack, but the Classic Controller is supported. No MotionPlus. Multiplayer seems limited to local play only, too.
The graphics have seen a pretty big improvement since we last saw it, now using the revolutionary technology known as 'colour'. It runs off Quantum 3, the same engine that powered The Conduit.
Tournament of Legends is due out in May.
