Australian sales charts - W/E 31st January

Mass Effect 2 comes as the biggest surprise this week, with the 360 version selling extremely well and soaring past all those Wii games that were having a tea party up there these last few months. The PC version also pokes its head in the top 10.
Cricket appears in the top 10 again, now as a bundle? Does it come with a plastic cricket bat or something?

Mario Kart Wii reclaims top spot in the Wii charts. As for the DS charts, it seems brain training games are still all the rage. Hey look, there's another one..

how is it a surprise that mass effect did well? the original was fairly popular, and they've been hyping it up (online at least) for months before release.

fair enough. its kinda sad how static the charts constantly are (and makes you wonder how things like wii play are still selling- surely they've sold more copies of that than wiis by now?).
