In the recently announced Galactic Taz Ball, Marvin the Martian is stealing Earth's greatest landmarks to fancy-up Mars. Taz has accidently been captured in the process (as Australia is home to the world's biggest and best - such as the Big Pineapple, the Big Banana and the Big Every-bloody-thing-else) and now has to find a way back home and stop Marvin while he's up there.
Developed by WayForward, the game contains both 2D and 3D platforming. Overworld levels have you controlling Taz with a virtual trackball. When he moves fast enough, he'll become a tornado to destroy objects and enemies. Underworld stages take on a side-scrolling view, and deal more with puzzle solving.
"Taz is one of the most popular characters in the Looney Tunes family, and with Galactic Taz Ball kids can have fun for hours with action, exploration, platform challenges and puzzle solving," said Samantha Ryan, Senior Vice President, Development and Production, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. "This creative game packs all of the wild fun that everyone loves about Taz into a handheld experience with two unique modes of play."
Galactic Taz Ball is due out in Australia this May.
