Demos available on Nintendo 3DS eShop from tomorrow
Posted January 19, 2012 8:25 AM by Lucario
Both Nintendo Europe and America has announced that from tomorrow the Nintendo 3DS eShop will be updated with demos of upcoming retail Nintendo 3DS releases. Once downloaded, these demos can only be played through a limited number of times but if Japan is anything to go by then there is generally a good 30 tries available.
Both Europe (and presumably Australia) and America will receive Capcom's Resident Evil Revelations while Europe will also get the chance to try out Cooking Mama 4: Kitchen Magic. Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games will be arriving next week in the States followed by Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D and Rayman Origins soon after, Nintendo Europe on the other hand has confirmed Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D, Rhythm Thief and the Emperor's Treasure and Mario and Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games are all on the way.
This is the first time Nintendo has offered downloadable demos of full retail releases so this is definitely an exciting move from Nintendo. Stay tuned for Nintendo Shop Updates tomorrow where we'll bring you all the latest from this week's releases on the Nintendo 3DS eShop, Wii Shop Channel and Nintendo DSi Shop.
The retail release of Resident Evil Revelations will be available in Australia from February 2nd with a classification of MA15+ for strong violence, for something truly scary though, be sure to download that Cooking Mama demo.
